Coca Cola Project
For this project we were given a real life situation. Coca Cola needs an order of 100,000 gallons of phosphoric acid in a certain time frame to produce their needed quota of the sweet syrup drink. As a class in our groups we were given certain factors. How long it takes to produce the acid, how much phosphorus we produce in a given amount of time. We also had the time it would take for our acid to travel by rail car to the Coca Cola factory. As a group we worked to completer all the factors and decide weather or not we could take on this take for Coca Cola. Below is our presentation explaining our answer and how we came to that conclusion. Our group I would say definitely struggled with this. We had issues with unit conversions. We also struggled in making sure we had all our factors in play and we were not leaving anything out. me and my other group member Ruby J pulled through. We worked hard to come to our conclusion. We also worked to get everything onto our presentation so we could explain our conclusion and persuade the Coca Cola representative to go with us.
